Quick answer
A landing page can cost nothing, on a free builder that keeps its own name in your address, or a lot, when it's designed from scratch with copy written for your audience. What changes the price is who writes the copy, whether the design is custom or a template and what comes connected to the page, like a WhatsApp button with the message already written and the ad pixel. Mine are ready in 10 business days from the day I receive your materials, and they work with or without ads.
The kinds of landing pages you'll be offered
When you start asking around, you'll find four kinds of offers. The price gap between them is big, and it comes from how much work each one includes and who does it.

Free builder
- What you get
- A template you fill in, on the builder's own address
- Who builds it
- You
Ready-made template
- What you get
- A finished layout with your colors and text swapped in
- Who builds it
- Whoever sells the template
Page built on a no-code builder
- What you get
- A page put together with the text you send
- Who builds it
- A professional, using the builder
Custom landing page
- What you get
- Copy written for your clients, original design and every button tested
- Who builds it
- A professional, from scratch
| Kind | What you get | Who builds it |
|---|---|---|
| Free builder | A template you fill in, on the builder's own address | You |
| Ready-made template | A finished layout with your colors and text swapped in | Whoever sells the template |
| Page built on a no-code builder | A page put together with the text you send | A professional, using the builder |
| Custom landing page | Copy written for your clients, original design and every button tested | A professional, from scratch |
At the low end, someone builds the page with the text you send. At the high end, someone studies your audience, writes the copy, designs the page from scratch, connects the ad tools and tests everything on a phone before it goes live.
What makes the price of a landing page go up
A landing page is a single page, so the number of pages drops out of the math. What weighs is what happens inside it.

- Who writes the copy. If you send the copy ready, it costs less. If the person building the page writes it from what your clients ask, the price goes up, and the page answers their questions before the conversation starts
- Custom design or template. A template is faster and cheaper. A custom design takes more hours and sets your page apart from the competitor who bought the same template
- How many sections the page has. A page with the service, the proof and the button costs less than one with FAQs, plan comparisons, testimonials and a gallery
- What comes connected. A WhatsApp button with a ready message, the ad pixel, a booking tool and a form. Each connection means setup and testing
- Photos. Using yours, editing yours or shooting new ones changes the timeline and the price
- Rounds of changes. How many are included, and what each request costs after that
- Where the page lives. A page made on a builder depends on its monthly plan. A page made in code lives on your domain, with light hosting
These same items change the price of a full website, multiplied by the number of pages. The full breakdown is in What changes the cost of a website in 2026.
What comes with the landing pages I build
The timeline for my landing pages is 10 business days from the day I receive your materials, which I ask for in a brief written for your business. It covers photos, brand identity, any website and hosting you already have, and the logins I need. If a login is missing, I create a new email account just for the project. Until the materials arrive, the clock doesn't start, and that's in writing before you pay.

Copy written by me
- What it's for
- Explains what you do, for whom and how it works, in the words your clients use
Design made for your page
- What it's for
- Sets you apart from anyone using the same template
WhatsApp button with a ready message
- What it's for
- People reach out already saying where they came from and what they want
Ad pixel installed
- What it's for
- Records who visited the page, so you can advertise to those people whenever you want
Testing on every screen
- What it's for
- Checked from phone to big screen, including the laptop, where most layout bugs show up
Published on your domain
- What it's for
- The page goes on an address that belongs to you. The domain is registered in your name and paid by you
| What's included | What it's for |
|---|---|
| Copy written by me | Explains what you do, for whom and how it works, in the words your clients use |
| Design made for your page | Sets you apart from anyone using the same template |
| WhatsApp button with a ready message | People reach out already saying where they came from and what they want |
| Ad pixel installed | Records who visited the page, so you can advertise to those people whenever you want |
| Testing on every screen | Checked from phone to big screen, including the laptop, where most layout bugs show up |
| Published on your domain | The page goes on an address that belongs to you. The domain is registered in your name and paid by you |
The page works without ads. It receives people who tap the link in your bio, people who find you on your Google Business Profile and tap the website button, people who point their phone at the QR code on your counter and people who get your link through a referral. The pixel is installed for when you decide to advertise, and until then the page works with the people who already reach you. The paths that bring people to the page are in Landing page or website.
Can you make one for free, or on Canva?
You can. Canva publishes for free on its own address, ending in my.canva.site, and on the free plan a footer says the page was made with Canva. To use your own domain, Canva asks for a paid plan.
A free page lets you test whether people tap the link and reach out. What it costs is your time. You write the copy, pick the photos, adjust it for phones and connect the WhatsApp button. If you have the time and know what to write, it works.
People who ask how much to charge for a landing page on Canva are usually going to build pages for others. In that case the free builder takes the tool cost out of the math, and what you charge for is the copy, the design, the time spent on changes and the WhatsApp connection. The price follows the same list from the section above.
How the person building it sets the price
Whoever builds landing pages usually adds up four things in a quote, and that's where the gap between two prices comes from.
- Hours of work. The first conversation, copy, design, building, testing and changes
- Outside costs. Stock photos, fonts, a booking tool or a form tool
- Timeline risk. Materials that arrive late, requests that change halfway and an extra round of changes
- Experience. Someone who has built many pages for the same kind of business knows what your clients ask, and writes faster and better
Before the price comes a conversation. I ask for some information about your business on WhatsApp, and the first step is the ÓRBITA Map. Once you've signed up for the Map, I send you a briefing with what I need to know, and I bring the complete solution in your action plan, with the price. The price comes from what your case needs, and it can be a one-time project or a project with monthly support.
What you pay after the page is live
Building the page is a one-time cost. After that come three costs that continue as long as the page exists.

Domain
- How it's charged
- A yearly fee
- What happens if you don't pay
- The address goes offline and someone else can register it
Builder or hosting
- How it's charged
- A monthly plan on a builder, or light hosting for a page made in code
- What happens if you don't pay
- The page goes offline
Upkeep
- How it's charged
- A monthly plan, or a fee per change
- What happens if you don't pay
- Prices, hours and services go out of date
| Item | How it's charged | What happens if you don't pay |
|---|---|---|
| Domain | A yearly fee | The address goes offline and someone else can register it |
| Builder or hosting | A monthly plan on a builder, or light hosting for a page made in code | The page goes offline |
| Upkeep | A monthly plan, or a fee per change | Prices, hours and services go out of date |
A page made in code, without a builder, can sit on free or very cheap hosting, because it's light. One made on a builder depends on its monthly plan to stay online. Ask how much that plan costs before you sign.
How to compare two landing page quotes
Before you look at the number, check whether both quotes answer the same questions. When a quote doesn't say whether the pixel or the hosting is included, ask, because that item can turn into an extra charge later.
- Who writes the copy, and whether it's written for your clients
- Whether the design is custom or a template
- Whether the WhatsApp button comes with a ready message
- Whether the ad pixel comes installed or is charged separately
- Where the page is hosted, and how much it costs per month
- Whether the domain is registered in your name
- How many rounds of changes are included
- What the timeline is, and when it starts counting
If you need more than one page, what a website needs in order to work is in What a professional website needs. And if you're torn between a single page and a full website, the comparison is on the website design page.
The page takes people to WhatsApp, and on the other end someone has to answer quickly. What to do when messages come in after hours is in WhatsApp customer service for business.

I'm Chris Lopreto. I started out in design, doing brand identity and websites for health and service businesses, and I saw that a website alone didn't make clients reach out.
Today I look at the whole path, from Google to WhatsApp, and I use AI and automation across the whole operation. That's why I handle the project from the action plan to the live website, without passing it from hand to hand.
