Pet Veter answersWith the plan's real numbers

The waiting period is the time between your first payment and the day a procedure becomes available. Every health plan has one, so nobody signs up the night before a surgery and cancels afterward.

At Pet Veter the waiting period changes with the type of care. The times below are the general ones, and the exact waiting period for your plan appears at sign-up and in your copy of the contract.

When the waiting period starts counting

At the first payment, whether by card or bank slip. That is why it pays to sign up while your pet is healthy, before a problem shows up.

Does switching plans reset the waiting period?

Switching plans is only available in the first 30 days of the contract or at the annual renewal. Our team explains the waiting period for the new coverage at the time of the switch.
